rs. Philomena Oritsage Tugele was the second child born into the family of Late Chief Jackson AKPATABI Timi and Akpieyi Timi (Nee Oke) of Okere Urhobo Kingdom of warri south local government area and OkE and ODODO in Olomu/Ogunu in Ugheiii south local government area both in delta state in January 20th 1946.

She was fondly loved by her parents for her hard work and dedication both to her studies and her business. She was a dedicated catholic at the early stage of her life before getting married to Pa Emmanuel Abi Tugele then in Lagos popular called coast at that time. She was a dedicated house wife a disciplinarian especially towards her children and those living with her. These virtues have helped her children in every aspect in life especially in their academic pursuit. Late Mrs. Philomena Oritsage Tugele was also engaged in various businesses such as confectionary and poultry farming her husband left in her care after his demise.

To her in-laws she was fondly called “Iyawo”, while to her children she was their “chocolate creamery Mama” and called “D” (darling) by her late husband.

She was a member of the celestial church of Christ for many years. She became saved and converted in October 2014 and baptized November  2016 at  the Living faith church Edjeba aka winners chapel  having come to the full understanding of salvation through the effort and prayers of her children. She became addicted to the messages of Bishop David Oyedepo and Bishop David Abioye and was indeed a lover of God’s word and encouragement to her children based on her new found faith.

She was a role model and a mentor. She was very caring, accommodating, generous and full of life. As a Grandmother, mother and friend she was unique dedicated and always there for her children. She upheld strongly the values of the family and held his immediate and extended family very close to his heart. She had great vision and goals she share with her children but was suddenly snatch away. The legacy she left behind will surely be remembered.

Mrs. Philomena Oritsage Tugele slept in the Lord Jesus Christ on the Friday day 30th December 2016. She is survived by nine biological children, six grandchildren, a sister and relatives .
